Ohio State vs Indiana
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 12:00 PM ET
Matchup: This is the week's marquee Big Ten contest, matching No. 4 Ohio State against No. 5 Indiana in Bloomington. Indiana enters undefeated at 6-0, while Ohio State is 5-1 and has been steadily building momentum after its early-season setback. The Hoosiers have protected their perfect record with consistent execution, including a narrow 20-17 win over Nebraska. Ohio State arrives after defeating Maryland 45-16, a result that showcased the Buckeyes' scoring potential but also left room for improvement in discipline and ball security.
Offense: Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has helped lead a dangerous passing attack, with receiver Jeremiah Smith serving as a major downfield threat. Smith delivered two touchdowns against Maryland, including a 93-yard receiving performance. Running back Bo Jackson also gives the Buckeyes a useful complementary option after rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns in that game. Indiana's challenge will be keeping the passing game in front of its defense while forcing Ohio State into longer third downs. The Hoosiers need their own offense to sustain drives and avoid giving the Buckeyes extra possessions.
Trends & Statistical History: Ohio State's defense has been among the nation's strongest, allowing just 246.8 yards per game through its first six games according to NCAA team statistics. The Buckeyes also held Maryland to 16 points last weekend. Indiana's undefeated record and home-field advantage make it a serious test, but Ohio State is favored by approximately 3.5 points in the available market. Turnovers, red-zone efficiency and third-down conversions could decide a game with major Big Ten and playoff implications.
Florida vs Texas
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 12:00 PM ET
Matchup: Texas returns home after a damaging 27-24 loss to Oklahoma, a result that dropped the Longhorns to No. 7 in the AP poll. Texas is 4-1 and still has the talent to remain in the national-title conversation, but the Red River defeat showed that its margin for error is limited. Florida comes to Austin at 4-2 after losing 38-19 to South Carolina. The Gators must respond quickly against a team that will be eager to turn disappointment into a decisive home performance.
Offense: Texas needs to improve its consistency on early downs and avoid falling behind the chains. Against Oklahoma, a close finish came down to late execution, and the Longhorns could not make enough plays to secure the win. Florida's offense must find a way to sustain drives and keep Texas' defense on the field. The Gators will need balanced play-calling, reliable pass protection and a productive rushing attack to avoid becoming predictable in obvious passing situations. For Texas, explosive plays and red-zone touchdowns are especially important when favored by double digits.
Trends & Statistical History: Texas is listed around a 10.5-point favorite, with the total near 52.5. The market is expecting the Longhorns to respond at home, although Florida's ability to make this competitive depends on limiting turnovers and controlling tempo. Texas cannot afford another slow start after losing its first game of the season. Florida, meanwhile, needs a more disciplined defensive performance after allowing 38 points. The opening quarter and the turnover margin should be key indicators of whether the Gators can threaten an upset or Texas can reassert itself.
Mississippi State vs LSU
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 12:00 PM ET
Matchup: Mississippi State and LSU meet in an important SEC game with both teams trying to strengthen their postseason prospects. Mississippi State is 4-1 and ranked No. 16, while LSU is 4-2 and ranked No. 22 after a painful overtime loss to Kentucky. LSU's home crowd at Tiger Stadium provides a significant advantage, but the Tigers need to show that the previous defeat was an exception rather than a sign of continuing inconsistency. Mississippi State has an opportunity to take advantage if LSU struggles to finish drives or gives away possessions.
Offense: Mississippi State will need a balanced approach to keep LSU's defense from focusing exclusively on the pass. Sustaining drives and converting third downs will be crucial on the road, particularly if the Bulldogs fall behind early. LSU's offense should look to create explosive plays while avoiding the costly mistakes that can turn a manageable game into a close finish. The Tigers have the benefit of playing at home, but they cannot rely on atmosphere alone; efficient red-zone execution and protection against pressure will be important against a ranked opponent.
Trends & Statistical History: LSU is favored by roughly 14.5 points, with the total near 58.5. The spread reflects the Tigers' home advantage and their potential scoring ceiling, but the size of the number also makes Mississippi State's ability to remain competitive especially relevant. LSU's recent overtime loss to Kentucky raises questions about closing out tight games, while Mississippi State's 4-1 start gives it confidence entering a difficult road environment. Watch the turnover battle and early-down rushing efficiency: if LSU establishes control at the line of scrimmage, the favorite could pull away; if Mississippi State keeps the game close into the second half, the pressure will shift to the Tigers.
Northwestern vs Michigan State
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 12:00 PM ET
Matchup: No. 25 Northwestern visits Michigan State in a Big Ten game that presents a chance for the Wildcats to consolidate their place in the rankings. Northwestern is 4-1 after a 45-14 win over Ball State, while Michigan State is 2-4 and needs a strong conference performance to change the direction of its season. Northwestern has shown the ability to take care of business against an overmatched opponent, but playing on the road in league competition presents a different challenge. Michigan State will be looking for a more complete effort in front of its home crowd.
Offense: Northwestern's best route is to maintain offensive balance and avoid unnecessary negative plays. The Wildcats can put pressure on Michigan State by sustaining drives, controlling possession and forcing the Spartans to defend multiple phases of the offense. Michigan State needs to generate more consistent production on early downs and avoid leaving its defense on the field for extended stretches. If the Spartans fall behind by multiple scores, they may have to throw more often, making pass protection and ball security even more important.
Trends & Statistical History: Northwestern enters with the better record and is favored by approximately a touchdown, according to an available early line. The Wildcats' 45-point performance last week provides a positive recent reference point, though the quality of competition rises in East Lansing. Michigan State's 2-4 record means that the home team needs to find ways to create short fields through turnovers or special teams. The key statistical battle is likely to be possession and third-down conversion rate. If Northwestern limits mistakes and makes Michigan State drive the length of the field, the Wildcats have a good opportunity to leave with a conference win.
Virginia vs SMU
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 12:00 PM ET
Matchup: Virginia travels to Dallas to face No. 24 SMU in an ACC matchup between teams with contrasting recent records. Virginia is 4-2, while SMU is 4-1 and has moved into the AP Top 25. The Mustangs will try to use home-field advantage to keep their ranking secure, while Virginia can make a statement by beating a ranked opponent on the road. Both teams have enough to compete in the ACC race, so the result could have implications beyond the immediate standings.
Offense: SMU will want to dictate the tempo and make Virginia defend the full width of the field. A productive passing game, paired with enough rushing success to prevent predictable passing downs, would give the Mustangs a chance to control the matchup. Virginia's priority is to avoid giving up easy explosive plays and keep the game within one or two possessions. On offense, the Cavaliers need to stay ahead of the chains, protect the quarterback and convert red-zone visits into touchdowns rather than field goals.
Trends & Statistical History: An available early line makes SMU an approximately 8.5-point favorite. The Mustangs' 4-1 record and ranking give them the stronger résumé entering the game, but Virginia's 4-2 mark suggests it should not be treated as an automatic opponent. The home side's ability to pressure the quarterback without overcommitting will be important, particularly if Virginia tries to slow the game down. Third-down defense and turnover margin are the main areas to monitor. If SMU builds an early lead, its offense can force Virginia into a more aggressive passing approach; if the Cavaliers keep the score close, pressure will build on the ranked favorite.
Auburn vs Georgia
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 3:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 1 Georgia welcomes Auburn in the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry, carrying a 6-0 record and fresh momentum from a 20-17 win at Alabama. The Bulldogs' victory in Tuscaloosa was especially significant because it showcased their ability to win a physical, high-pressure game against an elite opponent. Auburn enters at 3-2 and faces one of the most difficult road environments in college football. The Tigers need to play a disciplined game and avoid allowing Georgia to turn early mistakes into a runaway score.
Offense: Georgia's offense has received important contributions from quarterback Gunner Stockton and its rushing attack. Running backs Dwight Phillips Jr. and Bo Walker combined for 189 rushing yards in the Alabama win, demonstrating the Bulldogs' depth on the ground. That balance can be especially useful against Auburn because Georgia can use the run to control possession and create manageable passing situations. Auburn needs to tackle well, win early downs and force Georgia into third-and-long situations. Offensively, the Tigers must protect the football and sustain drives to prevent the Bulldogs from dominating time of possession.
Trends & Statistical History: Georgia is favored by roughly 20.5 points, with the total near 48.5. The large spread reflects the Bulldogs' undefeated record and their recent statement victory over Alabama. Georgia's defense produced four sacks in that game and will look to disrupt Auburn's passing rhythm. Rivalry games can be unpredictable, but Auburn's path to an upset likely requires turnovers, explosive plays and success in the red zone. Georgia's priority is to avoid a letdown after its emotional win and establish control early. If the Bulldogs run effectively and force Auburn into obvious passing situations, the home team should have the advantage.
Missouri vs Ole Miss
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 3:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 13 Missouri visits No. 9 Ole Miss in one of the week's most intriguing SEC matchups. Missouri is 5-1 and coming off a convincing 27-6 victory over Texas A&M. Ole Miss is 4-1 after a 52-17 win over Vanderbilt, a game in which the Rebels showed how quickly their offense can create separation. The matchup brings together two teams with strong scoring potential, but Missouri's defensive performance last week suggests it may be able to make the Rebels work harder than Vanderbilt did.
Offense: Missouri quarterback Austin Simmons threw for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception against Texas A&M. The Tigers did not need an explosive passing day because their defense helped them control the game, but a more productive aerial attack may be required in Oxford. Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns against Vanderbilt, although he also had an interception. The Rebels will try to stretch the field and force Missouri's secondary to defend vertically. Missouri must pressure Chambliss while remaining disciplined enough to prevent easy gains after the catch.
Trends & Statistical History: Ole Miss is favored by about 6 to 6.5 points, with the total near 59.5. Missouri has historically had the better record in this series, leading 7-1, although historical results are not a guarantee of current performance. The Tigers' 27-6 win last week gives their defense momentum, while Ole Miss enters after a 35-point offensive explosion. This game could turn on whether Missouri can keep the Rebels from scoring quickly and whether the Tigers can capitalize on their own red-zone opportunities. If the pace becomes fast and high-scoring, Ole Miss may benefit; a more physical, possession-oriented game would help Missouri stay within reach.
Alabama vs Tennessee
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 3:30 PM ET
Matchup: Alabama travels to Knoxville looking to rebound from a 20-17 home loss to Georgia. The Crimson Tide are 5-1 and ranked No. 6, while Tennessee is also 5-1 and sits at No. 14. Both teams have the personnel to challenge near the top of the SEC, making this a significant opportunity for the winner. Alabama will be eager to respond after losing a close game in which its defense was under pressure for much of the contest. Tennessee, meanwhile, will have a loud home crowd and a chance to deliver a major ranking boost.
Offense: Alabama needs to be more efficient in high-leverage situations and convert scoring opportunities into touchdowns. Against Georgia, the Tide were held to 17 points, leaving little margin for error late in the game. Tennessee's offensive approach must account for Alabama's speed and physicality, particularly on passing downs. The Volunteers will want to keep the quarterback comfortable, establish enough rushing success to maintain balance and avoid costly sacks or turnovers. Both teams can produce explosive plays, but sustained drives may matter more than highlight moments in a matchup between ranked SEC opponents.
Trends & Statistical History: Alabama is favored by approximately 8.5 points, with a total around 51.5. That line gives the Tide respect despite the loss to Georgia, but Tennessee's 5-1 record and home field make it a dangerous opponent. The key question is how Alabama responds emotionally and technically after its first loss. Tennessee needs to protect the ball and avoid giving Alabama short fields. If the Crimson Tide control the line of scrimmage and limit explosive plays, they can justify the favorite status. If Tennessee creates early momentum and turns the game into a high-tempo contest, the spread could become much less comfortable.
Arizona State vs Texas Tech
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 3:30 PM ET
Matchup: Arizona State visits No. 10 Texas Tech in a Big 12 contest that tests whether the Red Raiders can maintain their unbeaten start. Texas Tech is 5-0 and has climbed into the top 10, while Arizona State is 3-2 and needs a strong performance to improve its conference position. The Red Raiders have the benefit of playing at home and will look to keep their momentum going. Arizona State's task is to disrupt the favorite's rhythm and turn the game into a four-quarter contest rather than allowing Texas Tech to build a large early lead.
Offense: Texas Tech is favored to control the game, but its offense must remain patient if Arizona State commits extra defenders to stopping explosive plays. The Red Raiders can use quick passes, spacing and a balanced rushing attack to keep the defense moving horizontally and vertically. Arizona State will need to win enough first-down plays to avoid long third downs, where the home defense can become aggressive. Turnovers are particularly dangerous for the underdog: giving Texas Tech a short field could quickly widen the scoring gap.
Trends & Statistical History: The available betting line has Texas Tech favored by about 14.5 points, with the total near 48.5. The undefeated record gives the Red Raiders a strong starting position, but Arizona State has the opportunity to challenge them if it can create pressure and force mistakes. The main statistical indicators to watch are yards per play, third-down conversion rate and explosive plays allowed. Texas Tech's best route to covering the spread is to get ahead early and force Arizona State to pass more often. The Sun Devils need to shorten the game, control possession and make the favorite earn every score.
Florida State vs Miami
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 7:00 PM ET
Matchup: Florida State heads to Miami for one of the country's most recognizable rivalry games. Miami is ranked No. 3 and remains unbeaten at 5-0, while Florida State is 3-3 and looking to turn its season around with a major road upset. The Hurricanes have established themselves as one of the nation's top teams, and their ranking reflects both their record and ability to win convincingly. Florida State's challenge is not simply to compete early, but to sustain its level of play for four quarters against a high-ranked opponent.
Offense: Miami's offense will look to stretch Florida State's defense and capitalize on mismatches in space. The Hurricanes have been productive enough to remain in the national-title conversation, and avoiding turnovers should allow them to dictate tempo at home. Florida State needs to run the ball effectively enough to keep the defense honest, protect its quarterback and avoid repeated three-and-outs. If the Seminoles fall behind quickly, they could be forced into predictable passing situations, allowing Miami to bring pressure and create negative plays.
Trends & Statistical History: Miami is favored by approximately 21.5 points, with a total around 55.5. The spread reflects the difference between the teams' current records and Miami's strong position in the AP poll. Rivalry history can add unpredictability, but Florida State needs a near-clean performance to stay close. The most important indicators are turnovers, explosive gains and red-zone efficiency. Miami can strengthen its playoff résumé with a decisive win, while Florida State can change the narrative of its season by making the Hurricanes uncomfortable. If Miami wins the line of scrimmage and forces Florida State into long-yardage situations, the favorite should have the advantage.
Notre Dame vs BYU
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 7:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 2 Notre Dame travels to Provo to meet No. 8 BYU in a high-profile matchup between undefeated teams. Notre Dame is 6-0 after routing Stanford 58-7, while BYU is 5-0 and coming off a 24-10 victory over Iowa State. The Cougars' win featured a major advantage in total yardage, 506 to 200, demonstrating their ability to control a game on both sides of the ball. Notre Dame's recent scoring outburst is impressive, but BYU's home environment and unbeaten record make this a substantial test.
Offense: Notre Dame will try to combine its explosive scoring potential with efficient ball control. A strong start could force BYU to take more risks, but the Irish must be prepared for a defense that has limited opponents' production. BYU's offense needs to repeat the balance it showed against Iowa State, where it generated more than 500 yards while keeping the Cyclones to 200. The Cougars must protect the quarterback and avoid giving Notre Dame extra possessions. Sustaining drives will be important because the total is relatively modest for two unbeaten teams.
Trends & Statistical History: Notre Dame is favored by approximately 10.5 points, with the total near 47.5. NCAA statistics list Notre Dame among the nation's strongest total defenses, allowing only 214.2 yards per game through six contests; BYU is also highly ranked defensively, allowing 254.4 yards per game through five. Those numbers help explain why the market expects a competitive but relatively controlled scoring environment. Notre Dame's challenge is to handle the road atmosphere and avoid a slow start. BYU's opportunity lies in winning field position, converting third downs and keeping the Irish from creating an early multi-score cushion.
Oklahoma State vs Houston
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 7:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 18 Oklahoma State visits No. 20 Houston in a Big 12 matchup between teams looking to strengthen their conference and playoff positioning. Oklahoma State is 4-1 and has been effective at creating points, including a 42-28 win over UCF. Houston is 5-1 and climbed to No. 20 after a convincing 35-16 road victory at Kansas State. Houston's record and recent defensive showing give it a strong case at home, but Oklahoma State's scoring ability means the Cougars cannot afford to relax if they take an early lead.
Offense: Oklahoma State will try to make the game uncomfortable for Houston by sustaining drives and using its scoring potential to keep pressure on the home defense. The Cowboys need to protect the football and avoid wasted possessions, particularly in a road environment. Houston's offense should seek to build on its 35-point performance against Kansas State, using efficient early-down execution to keep the playbook open. The Cougars' ability to score while maintaining defensive discipline could be decisive. Both teams will want to win on third down and convert red-zone trips into touchdowns.
Trends & Statistical History: Houston's 5-1 record compares favorably with Oklahoma State's 4-1 mark, and the Cougars have the benefit of home field. Houston's 35-16 win last week showed it could perform on the road, while Oklahoma State's 42 points against UCF illustrated its offensive upside. The critical question is whether Houston can limit the Cowboys' scoring bursts while continuing to produce efficiently itself. Turnovers and explosive plays will likely shape the result. With two ranked Big 12 teams meeting, the winner will gain an important conference résumé boost and improve its position in the race for a strong postseason opportunity.
Wisconsin vs UCLA
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 7:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 12 UCLA hosts Wisconsin in a Big Ten game that could have a significant impact on the conference standings. UCLA is 5-0 and has gained momentum after a 17-15 upset of Oregon, while Wisconsin enters at 4-1. The Bruins' win over Oregon was a defensive struggle in which every possession mattered, demonstrating their ability to survive a tight game against a highly regarded opponent. Wisconsin will try to test that defensive toughness with a physical approach and steady execution on offense.
Offense: UCLA needs to avoid turnovers and continue converting scoring opportunities, especially after its narrow win over Oregon. The Bruins may look to stretch the field enough to prevent Wisconsin from loading the box, while still maintaining balance in the running game. Wisconsin's best chance is to control the tempo, keep UCLA's offense on the sideline and use sustained drives to wear down the defense. If the Badgers can create manageable third downs and avoid penalties, they can make this a close contest late into the fourth quarter.
Trends & Statistical History: UCLA's 5-0 record and recent win over Oregon make the Bruins a team to watch, but Wisconsin's 4-1 start gives it the credentials to compete. The market has shown UCLA as a modest home favorite in early listings, though exact spreads can vary. UCLA's recent 17-15 result points to a defense capable of making critical stops, while Wisconsin will likely try to keep the score low and reduce possessions. The matchup could turn on field position and red-zone execution. If UCLA forces Wisconsin into passing situations, the Bruins can use their defensive speed; if Wisconsin controls the ground game, the underdog may have a chance to pull off a road win.
Kentucky vs Oklahoma
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 7:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 15 Kentucky visits Oklahoma after both programs produced important results the previous weekend. Kentucky is 5-1 and reentered the top 25 after beating LSU 35-34 in overtime. Oklahoma is 3-2 but arrives with renewed confidence after its 27-24 upset of Texas in the Red River rivalry. The Sooners' victory demonstrated that they can compete with elite opposition despite an uneven record, while Kentucky's overtime win showed resilience in a pressure-filled finish. This matchup is an opportunity for both teams to turn recent momentum into a more consistent run.
Offense: Kentucky's offense will need to sustain drives and limit mistakes against a home team that has just produced a major upset. Scoring 35 points against LSU showed the Wildcats can finish drives, but Oklahoma's defense will look to make them work harder for every yard. Oklahoma needs to build on the confidence gained against Texas, using balanced play-calling and sound protection to prevent Kentucky from dictating the game. Both teams should focus on converting third downs and avoiding turnovers that can swing momentum in a matchup likely to remain competitive.
Trends & Statistical History: Kentucky's 5-1 record is stronger than Oklahoma's 3-2, but the Sooners have home-field advantage and a fresh win over a former No. 1 team. Kentucky's overtime victory over LSU suggests it can handle pressure, although its narrow margin also highlights how small the difference can be in close games. Oklahoma's win over Texas was decided by a late 47-yard field goal, emphasizing the value of special teams and late-game execution. The game could hinge on whether Kentucky can repeat its scoring efficiency and whether Oklahoma can avoid the mistakes that contributed to its earlier losses.
Utah vs Colorado
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 10:15 PM ET
Matchup: No. 11 Utah travels to Colorado for a late-night Big 12 contest. Utah is 5-0 and has maintained an unbeaten record through the opening part of the season, while Colorado is 2-3 and needs a strong performance to improve its conference outlook. The Utes have been consistent enough to climb into the top 15 and will be looking to avoid a letdown against an opponent with a losing record. Colorado has home-field advantage and an opportunity to make a statement if it can slow Utah's offense and create pressure early.
Offense: Utah's priority should be establishing the run and using it to create favorable passing situations. A balanced attack can keep Colorado's defense from selling out against one phase and help the Utes control possession. Colorado needs to make the most of its opportunities and avoid falling behind early, because a large deficit could force the Buffaloes into predictable passing situations. The home team will need sound protection and efficient third-down play to keep drives alive. Special teams and field position may be especially important in a late kickoff where a few key plays can alter momentum.
Trends & Statistical History: Utah is a substantial favorite, with early lines placing the Utes around 15.5 points ahead and the total near 50.5. Utah's unbeaten start is the clearest form indicator, while Colorado's 2-3 record makes this a critical game for the Buffaloes. The Utes will want to avoid turnovers and penalties that allow the home team to stay close. Colorado's best route is to win the turnover battle and turn Utah's scoring drives into field goals. If Utah establishes control on the ground and forces Colorado into long-yardage situations, the visitors should have a strong chance to extend their winning streak.
Wake Forest vs California
Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 10:30 PM ET
Matchup: No. 21 Wake Forest heads west to play California in a late ACC kickoff. Wake Forest is 5-1 after a convincing 38-14 win over NC State, while California is 3-3 and needs a home victory to improve its position in conference play. The Demon Deacons' recent performance showed they can create separation when their offense is productive and the defense forces stops. California's challenge is to disrupt that rhythm and take advantage of playing at home, where travel and kickoff timing may add another layer to the matchup.
Offense: Wake Forest will look to carry over its balanced performance from the NC State game, where the team scored 38 points and held its opponent to 14. The Demon Deacons need to avoid turnovers and stay efficient on early downs. California's offense must be more consistent than its 3-3 record suggests, particularly on third down and in the red zone. The Golden Bears can improve their chances by controlling possession and preventing Wake Forest from turning short fields into quick touchdowns. Defensive pressure and sound tackling will be important for both sides.
Trends & Statistical History: Wake Forest's 5-1 record and 38-14 victory last week provide a strong recent trend, while California's .500 record makes this an important opportunity to gain ground. The late kickoff and cross-country travel create factors that may affect tempo, but Wake Forest will still be expected to play to its strengths. California needs to avoid giving up explosive plays and make the Demon Deacons earn long drives. If Wake Forest's defense repeats its recent form, the visitors can control the game. If California protects the football and produces sustained drives, it can turn the contest into a close finish.

| Sniper Wes | 7:30 PM Wisconsin vs UCLA NCAAF 10/17 |
|---|---|
| Pick: Under 43.5 Take #183 Wisconsin vs UCLA Under UCLA and Wisconsin square off Saturday in a matchup that sets up well for the under, particularly with the Bruins potentially facing a significant offensive adjustment at quarterback. UCLA is coming off a gritty 17-15 road victory over Oregon, but starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava suffered a serious knee injury and is expected to miss the Wisconsin game. Backup Ty Dieffenbach would take over, and the change could lead to a more conservative offensive approach as the Bruins lean on their running game and defense. Wisconsin brings a strong defense into Pasadena. The Badgers held Michigan State to just 127 rushing yards on 45 carries in a 31-3 victory, and they have been effective at limiting opponents on the ground. That could make life difficult for UCLA running back Wayne Knight, who has averaged 7.7 yards per carry and scored 10 rushing touchdowns this season. If Wisconsin can contain Knight and force UCLA's inexperienced quarterback to make plays through the air, scoring opportunities could be limited. The Badgers also have reasons to expect a physical, competitive contest. Quarterback Colton Joseph has shown big-play potential, but his five interceptions against 10 touchdown passes suggest there is still room for inconsistency. UCLA's defense has recorded 10 interceptions this season, including four from Ta'Shawn James, giving the Bruins the ability to create turnovers and disrupt Wisconsin's offensive rhythm. Those defensive strengths could lead to shorter possessions and fewer sustained scoring drives. UCLA's 5-0 start has been impressive, but the quarterback injury changes the outlook for this matchup. Without Iamaleava, the Bruins may rely more heavily on the ground game and their defense, while Wisconsin's ability to limit rushing production could force both teams into a more methodical style. With two capable defenses and uncertainty surrounding UCLA's offense, this game has the ingredients for a lower-scoring battle. | |
| Kyle Hunter | 12:05 PM Florida Atlantic vs Army NCAAF 10/17 |
|---|---|
| Pick: Over 54.5 *Free Play Over 54.5* The Army Black Knights are much weaker defensively this year than they have been in recent seasons. Army is 126th in pass explosiveness allowed. They are 118th in yards per pass attempt allowed. They are 127th in pass downs success rate allowed. Army hasn't even played good passing attacks this season. Florida Atlantic is a very pass heavy offense. The Owls are 10th nationally in pass play success rate on offense. I think they'll have success with a solid QB and athletic WR's on the outside. The Owls are also very fast paced. In fact, they are first in the nation in pace of play. Army is a slow paced team, but I think they'll have a lot of success on the ground here. The Owls are 117th in PPA/rush allowed. Army is 2nd in PPA/rush on offense. Army is third nationally in rushing explosiveness and Florida Atlantic is 106th in rushing explosiveness allowed. We are just below a very key totals number too. Take the over. (50-26 Last 76 CFB totals. CFB 5 for $55 Total Package is just $11 per play this weekend. Save and win on Saturday!* | |

Betting the NCAAF Point Spread
Betting “against the spread” is the most popular way to wager on NCAAF basketball. NCAAF games are rarely perfect match-ups, and the spread is the sportsbook's way of leveling the playing field. In order to win a point spread bet or “cover the spread,” the favored team not only has to win the game – they must do so by a specified number of points (the spread). The spread encourages equal betting on both teams, as it essentially “gives” points to the underdog. You most often find spreads with half-points attached, which is known as a “hook.” The hook avoids the possibility of a push (or tie).Betting the NCAAF Moneyline
While less popular than betting the spread, the NCAAF moneyline is the easiest basketball bet to understand. When betting the moneyline, you are simply picking the team that will win the game. NCAAF Moneyline bets are easy to understand, but they offer a poor return on investment when betting on the favorite.Betting NCAAF Totals (Over/Under)
When betting the “total” on NCAAF games, you are no longer concerned with which team will win the game. Instead, your focus is strictly on how many points will be scored overall. You may also hear this type of bet referred to as “over-under betting.”
