| Joe D'Amico | 7:05 PM Gonzaga vs Kentucky NCAAB 12/05 |
|---|---|
| Pick: Gonzaga -5 Joe D is ON FIRE in ALL SPORTS, and today we continue to SCORCH THE BOOK on both the hardwood and the ice: 4-0 NBA FAST BREAK, 66.6% ODDSMAKERS MISTAKE, & SLAM DUNK plays along with my 12-3 NHL POWER PLAY. *10-3 NCAAF RUN (as of posting) *FRI & SAT CONF CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS*Joe D’s NCAAF is SCORCHING HOT & as one of the most profitable documented big game cappers over the L25 years, this is the time of year, WE SCORCH THE BOOKS: C USA, MOUNTAIN WEST, BIG 12, SEC, ACC, BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS. Friday’s FREE NCAAB WINNER: Gonzaga Bulldogs. Game 883. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. As of posting this play first thing in the a.m. this morning, most of the general public has been betting on the Kentucky Wildcats. My friends, I understand why. This is a highly-touted, talented team led by a smart head coach, playing on their own court. Why shouldn't the general public take them getting five-points (as of post)? But I'm here to tell you, I feel the masses are once again wrong. While Kentucky is a good team, they have been asked to step up three times this season, and have fallen short all three times. They lost and failed to cover to Louisville, 96-88, lost and failed to cover to Michigan State 83-66, and lost and failed to cover to North Carolina 67-64. Other than that, all of their opponents have been doormats. Now they face a Gonzaga Bulldogs opponent that comes off their first loss of the season. That's right, Gonzaga prevailed in their first seven outings of the regular season, covering six of those seven, against such notables as Oklahoma, Creighton, and Alabama. But in their most recent contest back on November 26 they were absolutely decimated by Michigan, 101-61. That was the worst defeat of Coach Mark Few’s tenure at the helm. Just in case you were not aware, he has been there since 1999. I expect this team to not only bounce back here with a vengeance, but to really put a hurting on their opponent. Yes, they fell into an early hole against the Wolverines, and shot just 34% from the field and only 14% from downtown. Very own characteristic for Gonzaga. They possess a very frustrating defense, and an offense that averages over 90.8 PPG. Both teams are good at both end of the court on the glass, and both teams are good at defending the perimeter. But as I mentioned earlier, each time Kentucky stepped up this season, they fell away short. I just feel coming in off not just their first loss of the season, but the most embarrassing lost in as far back as I can remember, will further motivate Gonzaga here. Take the Bulldogs. Thank you. | |
| Matt Fargo Sports | 7:05 PM South Alabama vs East Tenn State NCAAB 12/05 |
|---|---|
| Pick: East Tenn State -5.5 s is a play on the EAST TENNESSEE ST. BUCCANEERS for our Friday Free Play. We played against East Tennessee St. on Tuesday as the Buccaneers came into that game on a 5-0 ATS run which made it an auto fade. Additionally, Dayton was coming off a loss against BYU so it was a good rebound spot for the Flyers. Now, we are backing East Tennessee St. as it returns home in a similar situation from a month ago when it lost on the road at Presbyterian and came back home and rolled over Northern Kentucky and we expect that again from the SoCon contenders. South Alabama has won two straight games and is off to an 8-1 start by playing a favorable schedule while catching some breaks as five of its seven Division I wins have come by either one or two possessions. The Jaguars now face the highest rated team thus far and are playing their seventh straight game away from home. Play (870) East Tennessee St. Buccaneers 4-1 Thursday. CBB 57-39 Run and the red hot run extended Friday with TWO Winners. CFB 8-4 last week. FIVE Championship Winners Friday/Saturday. After Lions Win, Matt is on a 230-193-9 NFL Run. FIVE Sunday winners. | |

Betting the NCAAB Point Spread
Betting “against the spread” is the most popular way to wager on college basketball. NCAAB games are rarely perfect match-ups, and the spread is the sportsbook's way of leveling the playing field. In order to win a point spread bet or “cover the spread,” the favored team not only has to win the game – they must do so by a specified number of points (the spread). The spread encourages equal betting on both teams, as it essentially “gives” points to the underdog. You most often find spreads with half-points attached, which is known as a “hook.” The hook avoids the possibility of a push (or tie).Betting the NCAAB Moneyline
While less popular than betting the spread, the NCAAB moneyline is the easiest basketball bet to understand. When betting the moneyline, you are simply picking the team that will win the game. NCAAB Moneyline bets are easy to understand, but they offer a poor return on investment when betting on the favorite.Betting NCAAB Totals (Over/Under)
When betting the “total” on college basketball games, you are no longer concerned with which team will win the game. Instead, your focus is strictly on how many points will be scored overall. You may also hear this type of bet referred to as “over-under betting.”
